The Liquor Distribution Branch is one of Canada’s largest distributors and retailers of beverage alcohol. At the Liquor Distribution Branch we are driven by innovation and have a passion for the future and are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team.

Supervises the day‑to‑day administrative functions performed by the Distribution Inventory Control, Administration and Traffic (ICAT) staff (70%).  This includes product receipt review and its documentation prioritization and storage,  inventory adjustments, inventory management, retail and wholesale sales order process and shipment scheduling, special events freight arrangements and scheduling, freight claims & invoice payments and BC Liquor Store (BCLS) customer service with regard to retail sales order problems, adjustments & processing; control of the Return of Material Authorization (RMA)   Resolving Customer problems both Supplier payment issues and BCLS delivery issues (20%). Resolves departmental operational problems in a timely manner, liaising with key employees in critical areas within the Branch to effect solutions (10%).  Coordinates all VDC hiring and chairs / participates on several committees for Distribution.

Qualifications:
Experience:
-Minimum of two years recent supervisory experience leading a team, conducting performance reviews, attendance management, and employee recognition programs. “Recent” experience is defined as management/supervisory experience occurring within the last five years.

Knowledge:

-High level knowledge of an enterprise Inventory and Order Management system preferably, Oracle (EBS)
-High level knowledge of an enterprise Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably Radio Beacon, Tec Sys or other similar WMS.

Skills and Abilities:
-Proven ability demonstrating good judgement and organizational skills and possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with different levels of staff and management, and external parties.
-Proven ability to deliver training and direction to staff
