Get Your CARES® Dementia Specialist Credential
Long term care staff can now get recognized for successfully completing the entire HealthCare Interactive CARES® online dementia care training curriculum (6 courses/32 modules) by earning the CARES® Dementia Specialist™ credential.
By completing all training programs, submitting your documentation, passing the required 100-point online exam, and being approved, you will be able to use the C.D.S. credential after your name, on your resume, or on a business card. You will also be placed on a national registry of people who earn and hold a current C.D.S. credential.
The CARES curriculum consists of 32 hours of online video-based person-centered dementia care education. Once activated, you will have 10-day access to each of the 5 professional caregiver courses and 30-day access to the CARES Dementia Care for Families program.
