Summary

About the Agency

The selectee for this position will serve as the Program Analyst in the TRICARE Regional Office-West, Clinical Operations Section. Responsible for review of military healthcare delivery processes in the private sector and in the direct care system, with the intent to identify for leadership the local and regional opportunities to improve delivery of health services and in health
outcomes for covered beneficiaries of DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY.

Duties

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

• Developing strategies and personally prepares and/or manages the preparation and/or edits a range of responses to beneficiaries, healthcare providers, Congressional, and other high level government and non-government offices on priority inquiries.
• Coordinating -cross regionally with other customer support organizations/offices to resolve issues when services are rendered outside beneficiaries'' primary area.
• Creating data strategy and developing report that specifically supports capabilities within direct care and purchased care that can be leveraged to support optimal decisions.
• Providing delivery of information through data support and analysis both to internal and external partners to help maximize integration, optimize operations and cost savings.
• Planning, managing and directing the analysis, research and resolution of medical program inquiries and cases related to health benefit, claims, referrals, enrollments and authorizations.
• Providing transparent view of performance to managers and leadership using business intelligence tools and dashboard reporting.

Qualifications

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:analyzing beneficiaries inquiries for congressional inquiries or answering beneficiaries congressional inquiry for an organization.

FOR THE GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following analyzing beneficiaries inquiries for an organization. OR EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree orLL.M., if related
