We are currently looking for talented students to fill a variety of exciting and challenging full-time and part-time positions over the Summer 2018 in various areas. The job duties will vary depending on the position.

The Canada Revenue Agency (C R A) administers tax laws for the Government of Canada and for most provinces and territories, and administers various social and economic benefit and incentive programs delivered through the tax system.

Some of the key duties that students might perform may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing explanations and/or clarification to clients over the telephone in response to enquiries concerning their business taxes.
• Assisting clients to become and remain compliant with their business taxes.
• Providing a variety of administrative support services using various computer software programs.
• Processing and data entry, searching databases and producing reports.
• Communicating with a variety of internal and external clients, providing information or advice.
• Foster taxpayer understanding of their tax obligations and promote voluntary registration, accurate and timely filing, and remittances
• Promote and enforces compliance with Canada’s tax laws for filing, declaring, withholding, registering, and remitting.
• Collect outstanding debts owed to the Crown.
• Resolve enquiries from taxpayers, their representatives, or employees of the Canada Revenue Agency
• Analyzing financial and non-financial information.
• Receives and sorts incoming materiel including mail, facsimiles, bulk shipments, or other items.
• Selects, consolidates and prepares materiel such as mail, facsimiles, packages and bulk shipments for shipment.
