Summary
As a Management Analyst, you will serve as a Homeland Security Presidential Directive analyst exercising initiative and judgment in supporting, organizing and conducting analyses involving HSPD-12 initiatives including coordinating procedures to support the creation, issuance, and management of Personal Identity Verification credentials for GSA employees and contractors. Supporting the use of the credentials for secure electronic access to GSA buildings and information systems and managing the background investigation process.
This position is located in the Office of Mission Assurance, Identity, Credential, and Access Management Division in Washington, DC.
This office is responsible for serving as the agency-wide lead for: continuity of operations in government; disaster policy, planning, support, and operational coordination; and special security programs. In this role, OMA integrates the full suite of agency authorities, capabilities and equities to enact and guide the development of structured programs ensuring the resiliency of GSA's mission essential functions.

A Management Analyst,
- Analyzes HSPD-12 assignment, then selecting and applying techniques to determine the most efficient way to complete work.
- Applies techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of HSPD-12 issues or problems.
- Evaluates information, materials, and data, to choose, interpret or resolve issues.
- Provides nation-wide daily support of the HSPD-12 program.
- Identifies and develops data required for use in the management and direction of programs.
- Organizes and facilitates work among groups of individuals.
- Prepares and delivers briefings to management and/or senior staff employee(s) on findings and recommendations.
