Duties
Supervise a Field Audit Office (FAO) administrative support team at multiple FAOs, which provides administrative, audit clerical support and office automation assistance.
Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities including, providing guidance to support staff regarding policies, procedures and directives.
Plan, direct, and review work assignments.
Develops office internal operational procedures and guidance regarding administrative processes associated with correspondence, documentation, forms, and audit reports.
Identify staff development and training needs.
Performs a full range of supervisory duties to including; evaluation of work performance, resolving complaints and grievance, and effecting minor disciplinary measures.
Uses applicable software applications to input, calculate and retrieve data.
Must be a U.S Citizen as verified through E-Verify Program
Qualifications
All qualification and time-in-grade (if applicable) requirements must be met within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Proficiency Requirements:
You must be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
Specialized Experience:
In addition to meeting the typing proficiency requirement, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-06 or equivalent level. Examples of specialized experience include performing a wide variety of office administration support functions; selecting the most appropriate office automation software (word processing, spreadsheet, and databases) to prepare reports, correspondence and spreadsheets; retrieving, manipulating and sorting electronic data; training or reviewing the work of other employees in the performance of clerical duties; providing support functions such as reviewing timekeeping and payroll for accuracy and to resolve discrepancies, organizing and managing office files, and maintaining office equipment and supplies; providing secretarial support such as maintaining a calendar and suspense of office work.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of graduate education may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement when education is directly related to the position being filled. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Performance Appraisal: If you are a current Federal employee, you must be rated fully successful or higher on your current performance rating to be eligible for promotion. You may be asked to provide a copy of your performance appraisal during the evaluation and selection process.
Background Investigation: All selectees will be subject to a personnel security investigation which must be favorably adjudicated for occupancy of a sensitive position and/or access to classified information. If you are selected for a critical/special sensitive position, you will be subject to a Single Scope Background Investigation (TS/SCI). For a critical sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret level. For a special sensitive position, you must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level AND you will be subject to a random counterintelligence scope polygraph. Drug Testing: If you are given access to classified information, you will be subject to random drug testing. If you are selected for a critical/special sensitive position, you will be placed in a drug testing designated position. You must pass a drug test before your assignment to such a position and you will be subject to random drug testing subsequent to your assignment.
