Duties
This position is assigned to the Facility Management Service within the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to performing laborer & grounds work; Operating machinery including tractors, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and gardening power equipment; Working in one or more trade fields such as, electrical, carpentry, masonry, painting, plumbing, air conditioning, or heating trades; And performing maintenance and repair of lawn and gardening equipment such as changing belts, greasing motors, adjusting cutting blades, cleaning and maintaining gardening equipment.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
