The Contact Representative is responsible for carrying out overall objectives of the Admissions Office and ensuring the effectiveness in meeting campus-operating programs. The incumbent of this position conveys to the residents through guidance, example and problem solving skills that the Admissions Office meets the needs of the residents with supportive solutions.

Duties
As a Contact Representative , you will:
Assemble paperwork/charts necessary for residency at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, ensuring all Emergency Data is current (Estate matters, Power of Attorney, wills (executor/executrix), Living Wills; conservator, funeral plans); assist in scheduling arrival of new residents, making necessary arrangements prior to arrival, including ensuring Resident Sponsor has been assigned, and enters data for residents in an electronic Resident Information System (eRIS). Contact other agencies, organizations, or individuals to obtain or verify information needed for AFRH determination, provides basic information on related federal, state or local retirement home programs, and keeping the Admissions Officer informed of concerns.
Disseminate information concerning AFRH policy and admission guidelines to other Federal agencies and prospective applicants. Greet prospective applicants personally as well as communicate with them by electronic messaging, telephone and written correspondence. Provide details on eligibility requirements for entry into AFRH. Provide information on rights, privileges or obligations of residency. Provide application forms to prospective applicants and instructs on proper procedures on completing forms. Provide information on the electronic application on the AFRH website.
Coordinate New Resident Orientation under direction of Admissions Officer. Invite residents and attends orientation to assure speakers appear and keep to the orientation speaking schedule.
