Job Description * Managing student loans has become a national dialogue and is one of the more complicated financial issues of our time. * Our senior leadership is considered the best in the education sector, and we believe our success is driven by the culture we create for our employees. * We strive to promote from within and are proud that 83 percent of our management team are internal promotions.About Default Resolution Specialists:* Default Resolution Specialists (DRS) call student loan borrowers to offer them various repayment options with the goal of getting their default student loans back on track. * Record and update account activity including borrowers' financial status, demographics, and collection efforts associated with resolving their accounts.* Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts including the recording of address changes and purging of deceased borrower records.* The DRS position is a very Customer Service and Compliance focused role. However it is production oriented. With any job there are metrics involved and we are measured by our department's ability to assist in resolving the student borrower's debt through government programs. * We typically make 100+ outbound calls per day. We do take inbound but it is a small percentage of our day. Out of these calls we may only speak with 20 people each day. The position can be repetitive.About Aerotek: Our people are everything.
