Careers in Aging Week Wrap Up

This year, AHCA/NCAL supported the Gerontological Society of America’s (GSA) Careers in Aging Week (CIAW), which took place March 3-9. The goal of CIAW is to bring awareness to the numerous career opportunities in aging. Along with Argentum and LeadingAge, we spread the word about careers in aging and celebrating our current employees. We hope everyone had a great celebration!

Just because CIAW is over, doesn’t mean we can’t continue our momentum. All of the activities mentioned in our one-pager can be done anytime of the year including visiting schools to talk about careers in aging, celebrating staff, and participating in job fairs to name a few. Listen to and share brief podcast interviews with staff from all different careers in aging including a CNA, RN, Executive Director/Administrator, HR expert, Director of Culinary services and many more!
