The Operations Support Assistant is responsible for data entry activities and transactions in Human Resources systems pertaining to employee movement, actions and position management. The Assistant receives and prepares documentation relating to employee movement/action or recruitment and selection requests (letters of offer), verifies and inputs data and information as well as files documentation accordingly. The Assistant may extract and compile information from databases to produce reports for quality assurance purposes and perform related clerical duties.
- Prerequisites

Education
- Successful completion of secondary school.
Experience- Experience in providing administrative support;
- Experience in following procedures and adhering to established processes;
- Experience in doing research and analysis;
- Experience in reviewing documents or data for quality control purposes.
Asset- Experience in entering and verifying data in PeopleSoft or other Human Resources Management Systems;
- Experience in and knowledge of recruitment and selection matters.
- Competencies

Selected candidates will be evaluated against the Human Resources Services Competency Profile - Administrative Support Officers.
- Outcome
- The purpose of this recruitment and selection process is to create an anticipatory list of potential candidates that may be considered for temporary or indeterminate positions at the House of Commons.

- Selected candidates who do not have valid second language evaluation (SLE) results will be assessed. Bilingual non-imperative appointments could also be considered.
