Executive Administrative Assistant
Salary $47,702.46 - $54,065.38 annually

This position is excluded from union membership.

An eligibility list may be established and may be used to fill similar permanent or temporary positions across the BC Public Service.

The Public Service Agency is seeking an organized, capable and dedicated individual to work as Executive Administrative Assistant in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment

To provide secretarial and administrative services to the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM), Talent Management Division, BC Public Service Agency.  The Talent Management division's core business provides for leadership, program delivery and services in the areas of employee learning and development, executive recruitment and development, diversity and inclusiveness, performance management and conflict management and corporate succession management.

Highly organized, you capably prioritize and manage your workload to meet deadlines, using your outstanding eye for detail to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard. You are an effective communicator, able to successfully establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and demonstrate initiative and good judgment in applying procedures within established policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
 

  • Grade 12 plus a certificate in office administration or equivalent.
  • Three years progressively responsible experience in a fast-paced clerical/administrative role.  Preference may be given to those with more than 3 years’ experience.
  • Minimum one year working in a senior management office, in a confidential capacity.
  • Experience writing, editing and tracking correspondence.
  • Experience managing schedules, meeting requests and travel requirements.
  • Experience in word processing and other computer applications such as spreadsheets, databases, Internet, PowerPoint.
Preference may be given for:
  • Experience with CLIFF.
  • Experience with Live Meeting.
