They provide necessary skills that are crucial to supporting our military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
  Join us and be part of the commitment in providing quality recreational experiences to our Service Members and their families. This position is located at Fort Riley Fitness Centers and will include days, evenings, weekend and holiday schedules.

  Responsibilities

  Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager.
  1. Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility. Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory: provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities, and machinery. Assists in setting up for instructors, contractors, events, athletic activities, and related functions. Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts.
  2. Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
  3. Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Monitors fitness equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment.

  Travel Required

  Occasional travel - Minimal travel may be required for training purposes, local to Fort Riley.

  Conditions of Employment
