Requirements:
In accordance with BUMEDINST 6220.9B, all personnel, including direct and indirect care providers, administrators, ancillary services, volunteers, students, and others who may come in contact with patients, must receive and maintain appropriate vaccination against seasonal influenza. The incumbent must, as a condition of employment, be immunized on an annual basis against influenza.
All qualifications requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and clearly documented in your resume.
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final (e.g., confidential/secret/top secret, etc.) security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to this position. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent in the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-04 in the Federal Service that has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as:
- Operating office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers .
- Maintaining and updating filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
- Using office automation systems to produce documents, forms, spreadsheets, presentations and reports.
- Utilizing medical terminology to type final form and a fully qualified typist/word processor operator.
