• Summary

  The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is (Local Commuting Area defined as 50 miles from Fort Rucker). (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) Preference eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

  Responsibilities

  
  -Assist the Business Manager with day-to-day operation of the Coffee Zone
  -Act as the lead assistant
  -Restock satellite location with all supplies - this will involve using personal vehicle or MWR vehicle
  -Maintaining inventory, cleanliness, and organization coffee cart and storage area, unpack orders
  -Promote a respectful and friendly work environment for other employees
  -Enforce barista standards with all employees working at Coffee Zone
  -Performs opening and closing duties

  Minimum Qualifications:
  -Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
  -Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  -Skill in providing customer service.
  -Ability to communicate effectively
  
  Best Qualified:
  Six (6) months working as a barista in a coffee shop such as Starbucks, Dakota Coffee Works, Tim Horton's, Coffee Zone etc.
  Six (6) months work experience in a lead/supervisory position in a restaurant or coffee shop
  
  **Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and best qualified criteria will be referred to the selecting official first.
