This position is located at Henderson Hall in Arlington, VA at the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX). Candidates selected for this position will serve as a Lead Asset Protection Associate for MCCS.

Protects property from theft, trespassing, damage and destruction. Patrols assigned areas. Enforces policies, rules and regulations. Checks for breaches in physical security controls. Ensures all work equipment is properly functioning, reporting any recommendations/concerns/problems to supervisor. Responsible for preparing various reports as needed to include Incident Reports, Shift Logs, and written reports. Maintains close liaison with law enforcement authorities. Seeks assistance in life threatening emergencies, or in unusual situations. Contacts law enforcement personnel for dispatch when necessary. Protects scene of incident and passes control to law enforcement officers. May be required to appear and testify in court or at hearings concerning security cases.
Relays instruction from supervisor. Gets work started. Sets work pace. Demonstrates work methods, and provides work-related guidance. Checks on work and meets goals. Ensures employees follow security, safety and housekeeping rules. Conducts on –the job training and instructions. Checks with supervisor on problems. Performs supervisory duties in an emergency, or short-term and nonrecurring basis.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
