The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is the commuting area (Local commuting area is defined as Harford and Cecil County; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: you live outside of these counties and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis or you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses (must be able to be present for work within 2 weeks of selection), you are a military spouse in the process of relocating to this installation and are within 30 days of moving, or you are an involuntarily separated military member

This position is located at Aberdeen Youth Center.

Duties

Receives children, youth, parents, and other visitors in a courteous manner. Answers telephones, ascertains nature of call and directs caller to appropriate staff.

Utilizes an electronic cash register system and calculator to compute and record individual transactions for customers. Inputs data into CYMS as required.


Provides administrative support including typing/word processing, mail preparation, copying, distribution, telephone calls, and travel orders for CYS personnel.

Using office automation equipment and word processing software, prepares a variety of correspondence required for day-to-day operation.

Maintains records, files, statistical data, and suspense system. Uses E-Mail to send and retrieve messages.

Monitors supplies and resources. Orders office supplies. Assists in facility key control.

Performs other duties as assigned.
