Duties
These positions are located in the New Jersey Division, Newark, NJ & Denver Division, Denver, CO.
The incumbent will perform the following duties:
The incumbent will perform the following duties:
- Identify deficiencies and weaknesses in processing transactions.
- Resolve non-standard transactions, complaints, or discrepancies in processing invoices, such as auditing and correcting cases involving overpayment or underpayment of invoices for several periods of service.
- Receive, review, prepare and process difficult procedural and technical accounting documents/transactions that result from issues such as insufficient information or a need for deviation in processing procedures.
- Prepare and ensure sufficient funds have been obligated and totals are correct.
- Perform fiscal communications tasks to ensure timely and accurate processing of interagency agreements, delivery orders and vendor notifications.
- Maintain, control, and reconcile accounting transactions and records for multiple accounts. Provide customer service to vendors, resource advisor, financial analyst, and other external and internal customers.
- Research problems or errors that require reconciling and reconstructing incomplete information.
