This announcement will be used to fill openings at any of our Child Development Centers, School Age Services, Outreach Services, and the Middle School and Teen Centers. The Administrative Support Assistants are the "First Faces" of the Fort Riley Child, and Youth Services Division and we are looking for multiple candidates to fill these positions. These positions are a vital asset to our programs and offer a great opportunity for an Army NAF career with CYS!

Duties

Oversees the administrative management of the reception area of a CYS Program.
-Receives children, youth, parents, and other visitors in a courteous manner
-Answers main telephone and assists caller
-Provides customer service expected in a "First Choice" organization
-Utilizes Child and Youth Management System (CYMS)
-Maintains records, files, statistical data and suspense system
-Understands and articulates policies relating to patron fees, waiting lists, and program events

Job Requirements

Key Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position

Qualifications

1. Must be able to type 40 words per minute, with skill in Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
2. Must have knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation and composition techniques needed to type a variety of materials.
3. Must possess ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first. Highly preferred is defined as having knowledge of formats, forms, typing policies and common terminology of the program for which the work is to be performed (CYS).
Qualifications and highly preferred criteria must be clearly stated in resume to be considered.

Conditions of Employment:

2. A health assessment is required. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility as determined by medical authority.
