The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "First Choice" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.
Civilian Employees play a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the Military, but crucial to support Military operations.

Positions are located on the Defense Language Institute, Presidio of Monterey, CA.

Duties

-Receives cash or credit cards in payment for merchandise and gives change as required.
-Maintains record of sales.
-At the end of shift, turns in sales records, money, customer checks or change slip and accounts for all moneys and transactions.
-Provides information concerning availability of goods sold, prices and condition of merchandise.
-Keeps records of customer traffic during the day, and identifies slow or fast moving items and trends in customer comments or complaints.
-May prepare repulsions for items sold.
-Ensures that proper stock levels are maintained.
-Cleans counter or servicing area.
-Assists with conduction inventories.
-Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at level of necessary to complete required reports.
Highly preferred:
Applicants with cash handling experience, food service experience, or experience as a Barista.



Conditions of Employment:
1. A one-year probationary period may be required.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
3. A completed and signed copy DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
4. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-VERIFY) check.
5. Appointment is subject to completion of a favorable background checks/investigation to determine suitability for this position.
6. Pre-employment food handler's physical examination is required.
7. Available to work days, evenings, weekends and Holidays.
8. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
