Graduate Civil Engineer at Lake Victoria North Water Services Board 

Responsibilities

• Project Management through supervision of the Contractors and Consultants Reviewing and approving Contractors Method statements and other relevant project documents.
• Preparation of periodical project progress reports.
• Engagement of project stakeholders on various project issues throughout the project cycle.
• Monitoring and Implementation of Environmental Impact assessment and Resettlement Action Plan Reports.
• Carry out designs for Water and Sanitation projects.
• Production/review of engineering drawings.
• Preparation of projects bid documents.

Appointment Specification

• Has to possess a degree in Civil Engineering – 2nd Class Upper Division from an EBK accredited university.
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in design and/or supervision of Civil Works preferably water supplies.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with standard office and Engineering computer applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Water CAD, Civil 3D, Sewer CAD and AutoCAD)
• Good communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the Water Sector structure in Kenya.
• Registration with Engineers Board (EBK) and/or Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) as graduate engineer will be an added advantage.
