We are currently looking for a HSE Manager in order to intervene on transmission lines projects
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage HSE efforts and lead the team efforts to ensure full compliance
• Keep up-to-date regarding laws and standard to maintain a high level of quality
• Plan and implement HSE aspects of project-related work
• Plan and implement HSE aspects of project-related work
• Schedule, coordinate and conduct project audits and inspections in order to identify and assist in correcting unsafe and unhealthy work conditions or practices
• Provide technical assistance when deviations and non-conformities are found
• Participate in their resolutions
• Communicate results of audits and overall HSE performance to management as necessary
• Provide post incident guidance
• Participate in HSE and project meetings
• Determine the resource levels necessary to ensure proper manpower utilisation and to provide technical project support
• Resolve complex HSE issues in an efficient manner
Your profile:
• Degree in HSE or closely related file
• A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in such a position, with responsibilities and management duties on transmission lines projects
• You know how to handle problematics and deviations inherent to transmission lines construction from all point of views
• Deep knowledge of national and international quality standards and compliance requirements
• Strong leadership
• Synthesis and pragmatic spirit
• Fluent in English and Swahili mandatory
