Description

Our Client in the distribution of GPS fleet management products and services is seeking an AR Manager to join their team.

Ref No: EC/HQ/VAC-33/2017
Job Title: Accounts Receivable
Salary: Negotiable
Job Location: Arusha
Report to: Finance Manager
Position Type: Full Time
Job Shift: Day
Start Date: Immediately

Job Responsibilities:
? Ensure timely collection of monies due to corporation
? Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to the clients
? Manage and develop of AR staff
? Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
? Assist in developing credit standards
? Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
? Maintain an efficient process to ensure timely collections
? Conduct credit checks on all customer, establish and manage limits
? Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures
? Daily & Weekly reporting of invoicing totals/aging totals/cash receipts/invoice adjustments
? Any other role as assigned or planned by the management.

To be successful, you will need:
? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
? 6+ years of A/R management and accounting experience
? Demonstrated ability to contribute strategically by identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements
? Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
? Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
? High ethical and professional standards
? Knowledge of Tally or QuickBooks software will be a distinct advantage.
? Must be able to work later than normal office hours when required and frequently at month ends.
? Strong Management Skills.
? Strong problem solving, stress management, time management and team management skills.
